Position: «وَأما بَيَان الضَّرُورَة فَهُوَ نوع من الْبَيَان يحصل بِغَيْر مَا وضع لَهُ فِي الأَصْل» — "Explanation by necessity is a kind of explanation that comes about by what was not made for it originally." (v2/50)
[Editorial] Debate note (bāb): B10.03 and B10.04 carry the Ḥanafī answer to "specification may come later" and "exception is an opposing proof". B10.03 rests on B4.03 (the general is certain); B10.04 rests on exception as extraction, and B10.05–07 follow from it. When an interlocutor cites a later-revealed limitation as "specification", Sarakhsī's reply is that it is abrogation, with abrogation's conditions (B11).
